Raquel M. de la Hoya, CPA, MST – Partner VELAH Group PROFESSIONAL RESUME

Ms. de la Hoya is a tax partner with the accounting firm of VELAH Group. Ms. de la Hoya has over sixteen years experience in accounting, taxation, finance, and mergers and acquisitions in the United States and Latin America. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in California.

Ms. de la Hoya’s tax experience includes eight years at Deloitte and Touche where she was a senior manager in the Mergers and Acquisitions Services Group (“M&A”) and over two years in the federal tax department at KPMG LLP.

Ms. de la Hoya has extensive experience in federal and state taxation with substantial experience in the area of M&A. At Deloitte & Touche, she was primarily responsible for advising U.S. companies doing business in Latin America and Latin American companies doing business in the U.S. on deal structure, due diligence, tax and transaction strategy.
